Vegetarian/Vegan Outreach and Education
Join ARFF volunteers in distributing information about the cruelty of the meat industry, as well as the advantages of a vegetarian or vegan diet. We will be leafleting and showing videos about animals in factory farms.

If you can join us at any of the events below, please RSVP to brad@animalrightsflorida.org. We need at least one volunteer to help with event set up, and then as many as possible to answer questions from the community.

Cow mothers abused daily
On this Mothers Day, we will tell the story of the miserable lives of dairy cows. From confinement in overcrowded and disease-ridden farms to the desperation of watching baby after baby being dragged away and slaughtered, the suffering of dairy cows is undeniable.

Date: Saturday, May 10
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Meet at the SW corner of Lincoln Road and Meridien Avenue (ArtCenter/South Florida), Miami Beach. Click here for directions.

Time: 6:00pm

Monthly KFC Demonstration
KFC outreach is alive and kicking! As we reach the fifth year of the Kentucky Fried Cruelty campaign, ARFF has joined thousands of activists around the globe in taking action against a company that is responsible for killing almost 1 billion chickens every year. As long as KFC executives refuse to make meaningful animal welfare improvements, ARFF will continue to raise awareness about the company's cruelty.

While at KFC, ARFF hands out hundreds of flyers to people walking by. Each time we're out, potential KFC customers turn away after we educate them and many more walk away knowing how chickens are raised on today's factory farms. Can you spare an hour to hand out flyers for the chickens? Then join ARFF to show the public how hellish life is for chickens who are killed for Kentucky Fried Chicken!

Date: Saturday, June 14
Time: 6:00pm
Location: KFC, 6217 S. International Drive in Orlando, across from Wet-n-Wild.

ARFF is participating in a national campaign to convince Kentucky Fried Chicken to make basic improvements to the lives of chickens raised for KFC restaurants.

Can't make it to the demonstration? You can still help!
Please click here for more information about the campaign against KFC, and how you can contact the company to demand that they adopt basic welfare improvements.

Vegan Leafleting
Handing out "Why Vegan" pamphlets is one of the best ways to spread the vegetarian message. ARFF is looking for knowledgeable activists to leaflet at public events or at pedestrian heavy locations. We’ll supply the literature!

Download "Spreading The Word," ARFF's leafleting guidelines.

ARFF's Body TV
At night in central and south Florida, ARFF activists armed with literature and ARFF's body TV, a wearable TV/VCR, take to the streets to show the public images of animal suffering and to educate them about what they can do to help. Your help is needed to spread compassion for animals!

Tabling
In the months to come, ARFF will have information tables at festivals and events throughout Florida. Information tables are a great way to educate the public and provide them with literature and information they need to be informed about animal exploitation and abuse. Sign up for a shift today!
Please contact ARFF for more information about volunteer opportunities.
