Everyone loves cookies, including vegans

It’s that time of year again, when Girl Scouts tempt us, or guilt us, into buying cookies. Thankfully, several Girl Scout cookies are vegan. 
That’s the good news. The bad news is that individual Girl Scout councils in Florida purchase cookies from one of two official bakers, and only one of these bakers (ABC Bakers) offers vegan varieties. Girl Scouts in Palm Beach County and in the Orlando area sell vegan cookies (click here to find a sales location near you). Unfortunately, if you live in Broward County, Miami-Dade County or in the Tampa area, you’re out of luck. The vegan cookies to look for are: “Peanut Butter Patties”, “Thanks-A-Lot”, “Lemonades” and “Daisy Go Rounds.”
