Seaquarium needs your help naming dolphin born into cruel captivity

Last week, the Miami Seaquarium announced the birth of a dolphin. In an attempt to get the public interested in the dilapidated attraction they are hosting a “Help Us Name Our New Baby Dolphin” contest (winners get 20 admission tickets). We don’t know what we’d do with 20 tickets to the Seaquarium, but we were more than happy to submit a name for the baby dolphin. ARFF’s submission was “Alcatraz.” We thought that naming the Seaquarium’s new prisoner after the famous federal penitentiary was appropriate.
What are your ideas? Please send a message to the Seaquarium that captivity for profit and amusement is unacceptable.

At the Miami Seaquarium, dolphins, sea lions and the orca “Lolita” live in cramped, stressful conditions. The animals live in chlorinated, concrete tanks and are forced to perform in daily shows.
It is common for marine mammals in captivity to die prematurely. More than 50 dolphins have died at the Miami Seaquarium in the past few decades.
These intelligent, wild animals deserve freedom.
