No chained dogs in Miramar!
March 18th, 2010 by admin
Last night, the City of Miramar became the latest city in Broward County to pass an ordinance banning or restricting the chaining/tethering of dogs. With a unanimous vote, the city commission voted to approve on second reading an ordinance that, among other provisions, makes it unlawful to tether a dog outdoors unless a guardian is outside along with the dog. Miramar is at least the 9th city in Broward County to pass an ordinance addressing the cruel chaining of dogs.
Please contact Miramar’s City Commissioners and thank them for their votes!
