The results of public demonstrations sometimes come later

Last April, ARFF held a demonstration at the entrance to Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores in Orlando. The outlet mall had included an elephant and other circus animals in its Spring Carnival.
It’s rare for a demonstration to produce immediate results. The best way to measure the success of a demonstration is to look at the future actions of the “target.”
We’re happy to report that this year’s Spring Carnival will not feature a circus or any animals. Instead, there will be face paining, balloon sculpting, a bounce house and prizes. The Orange County Fire Department will be there with their fire truck, and guests can have their photo taken with human-sized “rabbits” and with Miss Central Florida Outstanding Teen 2010.
