The secret to success in pro sports?

Becoming vegetarian is not guaranteed to make you a sports star, but it’s a step in the right direction!
Miami Dolphins’ running back Ricky Williams is not the only professional athlete in Florida who draws strength from a plant-based diet. In a recent interview with ESPN, Miami Heat forward James Jones talked about the challenges of being a vegetarian in the NBA, especially when the team is on the road. “Room service is tough,” he explained. “I’m ordering five side dishes of steamed broccoli, five dishes of steamed asparagus and a bowl of brown rice.” Jones, a Miami native who won this year’s All-Star 3-point competition, has been a vegetarian since 2007.
