Bill to outlaw bestiality makes quick progress
March 14th, 2011 by admin
Today in the Florida State Senate, a bill to prohibit sexual contact with animals was considered by the Committee on Judiciary. After the bill was explained, it was quickly approved by a unanimous vote. As you can imagine, there was no opposition. The bill (Senate Bill 344) is now ready to be voted on by the full Senate.
Our attention now turns to the Florida House of Representatives, where the companion bill (House Bill 125) will be debated in committee tomorrow.
ARFF is hopeful that 2011 will be the year that Florida legislators finally protect animals from sexual abuse.
