Bike shop helps the circus pay its criminal fine?!
March 9th, 2011 by admin
Recently on this blog we told you that the Cole Bros. Circus had pled guilty to violating the Endangered Species Act. It was a pretty big deal. The fine ($150,000) may be the largest ever against a circus. Later this month the circus will begin earning money to pay that fine when they kick off their 2011 tour with shows in DeLand, Florida.
Considering all the bad press Cole Bros. received following their guilty plea, you wouldn’t think that a small business would want to partner with the circus. But two local businesses in DeLand are selling advance tickets to the circus.
Please contact these businesses and politely ask that they reconsider their support of the criminal Cole Bros. Circus. Let them know that you don’t support businesses that support cruel circuses. Contact:
